As a schoolboy, he felt joy at the arrival of the weekend. He walked home like an escaped prisoner. He longed for it to get rid of the daily burden of school.

He was a good student and often enjoyed the actual classroom work. School life was full of labour and tough competitions. Teachers gave them a lot of homework. This daily grind of the school made him long for holidays.
